Our Story
Our story begins with a visionary leader, Michael Mendelsohn and seasoned representative Yvette Mallory Lubsinky.
Throughout his career, Mr. Mendelsohn has orchestrated financing for a multitude of iconic films, such as THE MATRIX, LORD OF WAR, UNDERWORLD, and RESERVOIR DOGS, collaborating with leading financial institutions including BNP Paribas, Standard Chartered Group/Union Bank of California, Citibank, and JPMorgan.With an illustrious career spanning over four decades, Mr. Mendelsohn has left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry through his remarkable contributions in film finance, production, and capital management. Additionally, Mr. Mendelsohn has contributed significantly as a co-financier for Propaganda and Palomar Films, further cementing his legacy as a trusted and influential figure in the entertainment industry.
Currently Mr. Mendelsohn serves as CEO of Patriot Pictures, an independent film production studio that has brought recent releases such as: Nick Cassavetes’ GOD IS A BULLET, Netflix released BLACKOUT, CUT THROAT CITY, and PRISONERS OF THE GHOSTLAND.
Yvette Lubinsky has been representing creative artists for over 20 years. In that time, Yvette Represents has introduced a great many production companies, digital companies as well as visual FX and animation companies to the West Coast marketplace. Having begun her career as a broadcast producer on the agency side gives Yvette a keen insight into what you go through each time you search for the talent to work on your project.
